Terms of Service

Effective September 24, 2026 · wubs is an early release offered to a small group; these terms will change as it develops, and before any broader release.

These Terms govern your use of wubs ("wubs", "we", "us"). By using wubs you agree to them; if you do not, please don't use it. Questions: support@wubs.ai.

1. What wubs is

wubs is a personal planner for your health care, for you and for the family members or friends who help you with it. When you connect your health records, wubs reads them and helps you:

  • get ready for each kind of visit: a check-up, a specialist appointment, a test or scan, a procedure, or a follow-up;
  • keep track of what you and your care team said would happen next: the referral, the lab to repeat, the thing to watch, the check-in that is due;
  • coordinate across visits and providers, so something decided at one appointment isn't lost by the next;
  • bring your most thoughtful questions to each visit, message or call with your care team.

Where a plan item comes from your record, wubs shows you where. Where it comes from you, it says that too.

2. What wubs is not. Please read this.

wubs is not a medical provider and does not practice medicine. It does not diagnose conditions, choose tests or treatments, set clinical targets, or start, stop or change any medication or dose. Decisions about your care belong to you and your clinicians. wubs helps you prepare for those conversations; it does not replace them.

wubs never contacts your care team for you. It may help you draft a question, a message or a visit summary. You decide whether to send it, and you send it yourself.

Not for emergencies. wubs is not monitored in real time and cannot help in an emergency. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

3. Using wubs for someone else

If you use wubs to help plan care for another person, such as a parent, a child over 18, a partner or a friend, you confirm that you have their permission, or the legal authority to act for them, and that any health record you connect for them is one you are authorized to access, for example through proxy access your health system has granted you. You are responsible for how you use their information, and they may ask you, or us, to stop.

4. Who can use wubs

You must be at least 18, located in the United States, and able to agree to these Terms. wubs is currently offered to a limited group by invitation.

5. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us at support@wubs.ai if you think someone else has used it.

6. Connecting a health record

You connect a record by signing in at your own health system's site, such as MyChart, and approving access there. We never see those credentials. wubs's access is read-only: it cannot change or add to your medical record. Before you connect, wubs shows you what it will retrieve and what it will use it for, and records the version you agreed to. You can disconnect at any time, and you can delete everything wubs holds (see our Privacy Policy).

Your record may be incomplete, out of date, or hold information your health system does not share with apps. wubs can only plan from what it can see, and it will tell you when it does not know something rather than guess.

7. AI, and why you should check what it says

wubs uses AI models to read your record and to draft your plan, your visit preparation and your questions. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything that matters against your record and with your care team before you act on it.

8. Your content

You keep your rights in what you tell wubs and in the plans you build with it. You allow us to process that content only to provide and improve wubs for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use wubs unlawfully, to access anyone's health information without authorization, to disrupt or probe the service, or to harm others. We may suspend or end access that breaks these Terms.

10. An early release

wubs is early. Features will change, some will be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We don't promise that wubs will be error-free or uninterrupted.

11. Disclaimers and limits

wubs is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, wubs and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on information wubs provides.

12. Changes to these Terms

We will update the version and effective date above when these Terms change. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app before it applies to you.
